Tad is still in his infant seat, but we will be buying a convertible one soon. Any recommendations? We have one for B's car. It's an Evenflo Triumph 5. Just thought I'd get some opinions from those with car seats already.
Thanks!

we have the triumph 5.
call the safety council and see if they have any recommendations. when we got ours, the triumph 5 was one of the "good" ones, but it has been 2 years and there might have been some changes.
We have an Eddie Bauer. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. They are all hard to install and they are all too big still, even though Ander technically fits the size requirements. So I have nothing to recommend.
We kept Christine in her infant seat until she was a year old. We went by the weight and length recomendations on the carseat.
(Unless you have a tiny car) Britax Marathon gets 4 thumbs up - two from me and 2 from hubby. Pricier than most but well worth the $!!! Both my kids are in them, they should last us all the way through boosters, even my tall boy! Pros: super-comfy, padded in all the right places and then some, belt lockoffs make installation easy for one person, very easy to take apart and put it back together without consulting the manual (for cleaning)
Cons: large (doesn't fit so well in small cars), heavy (not a problem if you're not transferring it between cars), expensive
I spent the extra $30 to get the LSU logo one for Katie, too, it's so cute! (Sorry, don't remember where you went to school, but they have lots of colleges to choose from!)
Hope I'm not too late to chime in! ;)
We have the Britax Roundabout and like it. We heard good things about the marathon too, but since Zachary was small, we knew we didn't need one that big. He'll be in the Roundabout for a while. Britax is rated really high in safety.
