Pillows

When are pillows safe for toddlers? Tad loves sleeping with his head on his bumper pads. I know, I know... I shouldn't have those in there, but he likes to lay on them.

Also, what does everyone get their children for Easter??

He's way past the age where bumper pads are dangerous. And if he likes it, it's probably time for a flat pillow.

Ander is getting a basket of candy and probably a chocolate Easter Bunny and a outdoor summer folding chair.

Yeah, we use a very old pillow that was flattened out for Ander in his bed. He gets the benefit of a pillow but it isn't large, soft and fluffy so that we have to worry about him burying his face in it. I want to say we gave him a pillow at around 15 months, but it all kind of runs together now.

We don't do much candy around here because of tooth problems and food allergies. My kids usually get a tiny bit of (non-dairy, never was even in the same room with a peanut) candy, a new fun character toothbrush and tube of toothpaste, 3 or 4 Easter- or Christian-themed books, a Veggie Tales video, and plastic eggs with coins to put in their "bink"s. This year I may throw in a couple of bottles of bubbles, too, since it seems to be warming earlier than usual.
